If you do not require oversnow transport you will receive instruction on how to directly proceed to your property. Information on what to do when you arrive is emailed to you before your stay.

Legally, you are required to carry chains when visiting the mountain during the official snow season. We recommend stopping to rent snow chains for your car at 'Hoys' in Harrietville which is the next town past Bright towards Mt Hotham. They also have chains available for hire in Omeo. Contact Hoys today to discuss whether your car can fit chains as not all vehicles can - email info@hoysskis.com.au, call 1800 GO SNOW
Lift tickets can be purchased directly from mthotham.com.au. We recommend prebooking your skis/boards/snow gear through Hoys Skis – they have 5 conveniently located ski shops including one in the Hotham Village Centre in Corral day carpark & one in the Lodges precinct at Jack Frost. Excellent customer service, high quality snow equipment & very competitive prices. Hoys are offering lots of deals this season including an extra 5% off if booking before 1st June 2023; a “value season” offer; super low rates for Epic Pass holders; 5th consecutive day rentals for FREE & 30% off all ski & board rental packages if you book minimum 3 days in advance. www.hoysskis.com.au
There are no service stations on the mountain. Bright and Omeo are the last places you can get fuel from before Mt Hotham/Dinner Plain.
(If you have a Diesel car, make sure you have filled with alpine fuel)
